Abstract

The essence of crowdfunding as technologies of social investments through the Internet are disclosed. The main differences crowdfunding: mass participation, microfi nance, reliance on social networks and creating a global space of collective financing, minimization of the transaction costs and risks of venture investment,
savings on intermediaries are substantiated. The main types of crowdfunding are characterized. In the conditions of information society crowdfunding is an important component of the world fi nancial market are proved.
