Abstract |
Problem setting. At contemporary stage of development the world deals with deep crisis related to the loss of a single prospect being common to all mankind that is a result of the escalation of economic, social, and ecological problems within a global scale. The expediency of development being focused on the material production is more and more called into question, stipulating the necessity of the alteration of the whole paradigm of the contemporary development, choosing new reference points and criteria of the economic and social progress aimed at the qualitative improvement of a human life and the gradual enhancement of the qualitatively new civilization. Recent research and publications analysis. A problem of the social development, its sources, motive forces, and a direction has been considered by numerous researches (philosophers, economists, sociologists, politologists etc.) since ancient times. Works of domestic and foreign scholars, namely A. Buzghalin, V. Heits, A. Hrytsenko, M. Dolishnii, H. Dubianska, M. Zghurovskyi, A. Kolhanov, Ye. Libanova, D. Lukianenko etc., are dedicated to topical problems of the contemporary social and economic development. The theme inexhaustibility saves space for the further scientific search. Paper objective. The article objective is the comprehensive consideration of scientific sources regarding the sense of the contemporary social and economic development and the analysis of the prospects of the further productive social and economic development of the human civilization on conditions of the enhancement of the life quality of all members of the society. Paper main body. At the beginning XXI century the economic reality causes the objective necessity of the revision of the sense of the social and economic development. A category «development» is one of the most important ones pervading the whole system of relationships and interests. The escalation of many contradictions, the complication of development processes, a high level of the uncertainty, and the changeability of modern processes obtaining a global character have even more actualized this research direction. The main reference point of the social and economic development is namely a human, human’s needs, a human life, and conditions of development. Thus, the qualitative enhancement of the life is not only a target, but also a factor of the social and economic development. Conclusions of the research. The human life quality becomes a key factor of the formation of a new value basis of the social and economic development. The life quality should be considered as the harmonic development of biological, sociological, and spiritual components of a human life activity adhering to biological, social, and spiritual nature of a human and creating the most conducive conditions of the comprehensive human development and the realization of human potential. |
