Abstract

The article reviews the main socio-economic effects of neoliberal policies. The importance of the dynamic theory of economic development under the dominance of neo-liberalism is argued. Forestalling economic development is observed as a model of competitive economy. The economic categories of static and dynamic efficiency are considered. The Austrian school’s concept of dynamic effi ciency is proposed to put in the basis of forestalling economic development.
