Abstract

Abstract. The article examines the dynamics and regional differentiation of the quality of life of the population of Ukraine under the conditions of intensified external threats and prolonged military aggression. Based on a system of demographic, social and economic indicators, the study analyzes changes in living standards, income levels, employment, social protection, and access to public services across regions. Special attention is paid to the asymmetric impact of the war, which has deepened territorial disparities and increased the vulnerability of certain socio-demographic groups. The authors identify key factors influencing the deterioration of quality of life, including forced migration, labour market disruptions, declining household incomes, and uneven access to social support. The article substantiates that strengthening regional resilience, improving social policy instruments, and ensuring targeted state support are essential for mitigating the negative consequences and reducing regional inequality in quality of life in Ukraine.
